Brownsea Island

With fantastic weather this week why not come down and enjoy Brownsea Island. A ferry from either Sandbanks or Poole takes you across to this car free island. Looked after by The National Trust, it is tranquil, beautiful and gives a rare chance of seeing the Red Squirrel. Shy little squirrels hide in the treetops and watch us unsuspecting humans trying to see them.   The island is ideal for a day out exploring, take a pic nic and enjoy.There is also a lovely cafe and retail shop to visit.
